Intelligence Analyst

A well-established company is currently looking for an Intelligence Analyst to support its growing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, preparation and management of compliance assessments
  
• Gathering information in order to identify at an early stage any money laundering or financing of terrorism vulnerabilities
  
• Review, assessment and evaluation of inspection reports
  
• Investigating financial intelligence to assess whether such analysis leads to suspicions of financing of terrorism activities and report them
  
• Collect, maintain and analyse statistical data on a periodical basis
  
• Carry out any other duties assigned
  

Requirements

• University Degree (level 6 minimum) in Banking, Finance, Law, Criminology or similar
  
• Knowledgeable in local and international standards governing anti-money laundering and financing of terrorism
  
• Experience in taxation, audit or accountancy is considered an asset
  
• Familiarity with the financial sector services
  
• Outstanding communications skills in both Maltese and English
